Our Carpets and Flooring History
As a family run business, carpets and flooring have been in the blood for some 35 years, starting with Gaz, the head of our family. Based in Wilmslow, Cheshire, Gaz worked his way up learning about all things carpet; from styles and sales, to storage and deliveries.
A New Chapter in Carpets
In 1990, Gaz took his profound knowledge and wealth of experience to set up his own carpets and flooring company in Chorlton, Manchester. This is where Diamond Millennium Carpets was born. His dream was to deliver on the dreams of others when it came to their homes and commercial properties. He and his growing team operated, as they still do, with great pride at providing carpets and flooring to the public on time and on budget.

As word spread of Diamond Millennium Carpets, we needed to expand. When the opportunity arose, Gaz and his brother Sam moved the carpets and flooring company just down the road in Chorlton, to a larger space where we could continue to help many hundreds of people find their perfect carpet and flooring.
A Growing Family Business in Manchester
In 2009, Gaz’s son, Akram joined the family business after graduating from university. He brought his fresh knowledge of business and technology to Diamond Millennium Carpets, launching the first Diamond Millennium Carpets website and bringing in new commercial work from all over the North West.
The Future of Diamond Millennium Carpets
We think it looks bright! We love what we do here at Diamond Millennium Carpets and it only drives us to do more. We see couples pick out their first carpets for a new home and return a little later to choose something in time for a new baby. We facilitate businesses who want to make great first impressions for their employees and visitors with commercial carpets and flooring.

Our in-store carpet and flooring experts are there when you need them to offer advice, direct you to where you need to be, and to give samples to take away, and to take your order. As a stockist rather than a sample shop we can offer same day delivery on many of our products, and even next-day fitting plus great value.
